Houndstooth Coffee — 401 Congress Ave, Suite 100C (Frost Bank Tower)
Texas-born specialty roaster inside the iconic Frost Bank Tower at Congress and 4th. The sleek interior has ample seating, free WiFi, plenty of outlets, and the kind of focused energy that attracts remote workers and pre-meetup crowds.

Halcyon Coffeehouse & Lounge — 218 W 4th St
Austin's original day-to-night coffeehouse in the Warehouse District. By afternoon it's a laptop-friendly cafe with La Marzocco espresso. By evening it transforms into a full cocktail lounge. Open until 2 AM on weekends.

Fleet Coffee — 804 Congress Ave
A walk-up specialty coffee counter right on Congress Avenue with outdoor seating under shade. Fleet built its reputation in East Austin for inventive espresso drinks and clean, bright flavors.

The Meetup
Downtown Austin is the epicenter of the city's tech meetup scene. Capital Factory (701 Brazos St) hosts hundreds of events monthly — AI/ML developer groups, startup pitch nights, design community gatherings, and open coworking every Tuesday. Most evening meetups run 6-8 PM.
